Mattias Strathmore
Whistleblower counsel
I represent people who know something and have not yet told anyone.
For the first years of my career I defended companies in government investigations. I learned how a compliance department reads a complaint, what an agency looks at first, and how little it takes for a quiet matter to become a loud one.
Then I changed sides. The people I had been meeting across the table were often the ones who raised the concern in the first place, and few of them had anyone to ask.
I keep a small practice so that every report is read by the lawyer who will handle it. I take few matters, and I will tell you early if yours is not one.
Matters I take
- False Claims Act
- SEC reports
- IRS reports
- Retaliation

Terms I keep with every client
Your note stays with me
I read what you send, and no one else in the office does.
The cost comes first
You see in writing what I am paid and what costs are before you decide.
You decide each step
I advise and you choose, including whether to go on at all.
If it is on your mind, write to me.
A few lines from a personal device is a good first step. I will say plainly whether I can help.
Contingency fee: no fee unless there is a recovery. Case costs are explained in writing before you sign.
